I was listening to The People’s Key on the way to my doctors appointment this morning. Just as the album was finishing and Conor spoke the word “mercy” I looked up and realized that I was stopped at Mercy Drive.

Synchronicity.

Okay.

It’s my day off.

I’m up at a reasonable hour despite drinking irresponsibly last night.

I am in desperate need of

a. Food

b. Career/Grad School advice

c. Going to the bank 

d. Going to sell my shit at platos closet for more money

e. exercise

f. Okay, not so desperate but A TAN DAMN IT

AND YET AGAIN IT IS RAINING. 

Not like “hum hum think I’ll rain a bit and be cloudy bum hum dum” 

NO

like “F YOU I HAVE THUNDER BOLTS AND LIGHTENING VERY VERY FRIGHTENING LET ME KNOCK OVER THIS PALM TREE AND FLOOD YOUR PORCH”

You know, just like it did last time I had shit to do -_-

Okay Florida, you better not be working up to another “F YOU I’M GONNA BLOW THIS ROOF OFF YOUR HOUSE CUZ IT SUCKS AND I’M BETTER HA” hurricane again or I”ll beat you up.

Or you know, cower in a windowless room rocking while eating oreos.

Too many thoughts. Too overwhelmed. Everyday I feel like there are so many things to do that I can’t possibly get them all done. So instead I just sit here and my eyes glaze over, and it’s almost an out of body experience just watching myself sitting. Doing nothing. I fear my whole life might pass by this way. Sometimes.

I have been advised that the best way to deal with writer’s block is to drink a lot, cry a lot, and expose yourself to contagious diseases.

Fuck you. Just stop.

Went to see my neurologist today.

Good news: I get a new thing in addition to my pills for when I have more severe migraines! Finally I might not feel like everything in the world makes me want to puke! It’s this weird needle-less injection thingymabob. O_o my mom thinks it is creepy.

:/ news: I am going to get neuromuscular therapy and some other massage therapy thing for my car accident-induced neck pain! It’s supposedly not scary, but neuromuscular just sounds like it is to me.

Bad News: I have to go to another doctor because my heart rate is abnormally high! He took it three different times, different ways and since this is the third time a doctor has commented on this now, he thinks it probably isn’t a fluke or me being nervous/dehydrated/etc.

And I have a cold/flu (yet to be determined)

And tomorrow I have a paper to write 

This spring break is super fun

PS: Yes, it could have been a lot worse and I am thankful that both I and the people in the other car were not seriously injured. I think about it lots. But I’m still going to complain because it lets off steam, okay?
